And the name, Curlew Park?
A small colony of the endangered Bush Stone Curlew makes its homein the common land around Mundulla. It is a shy, ground dwelling, large bird which stands on long gangly legs, but can fly and is most active at night, more often heard than seen. We regularly hear their eerie, wailing "weer-lo" call at night as they forage through the property.
